While not every brand can be as playful as the one I developed for Healthfinch, I encourage clients to go bold.
Charlie the healthfinch made an appearance in all our materials, including some fun media stunts. This brand identity became a powerful differentiator in a very crowded marketplace. Healthfinch was bought by Health Catalyst in 2020, making it a great startup success story.

In 2011, when mobile apps were in their infancy, I helped launched a Madison-based app development company called Solomo. On a shoestring budget, I was able to create a high-energy, memorable brand and apps for our clients. While QR codes are ubiquitous these days, they were new to consumers at the time and required a lot of end-user education.
