I’ve been working all summer to get ready for two amazing art fairs, the Patchwork Market in Durham on August 11, and Cary Lazy Daze, August 24-25. The lineup of artists and craftspeople is impressive at both events and I’m fortunate to be one of them.
I’ve got 60 sets of professional-grade, one-of-a-kind salt and pepper grinders done and counting. There will be plenty of colors and designs to choose from. I hope to see you there.

It’s really fun and gratifying to line up all my finished pieces and admire them as a collection. They can remind me of Russian stacking dolls, Alice in Wonderland drawings, animal art sculptures from Oaxaca, or some mythical, enchanted forest. They are delightfully imperfect, detailed, and whimsical functional art pieces.
